Right now I'm looking for smart adult fiction that is not just addressing bigger world view questions, but also actively adding a new layer to the conversation wrapped up in a bundle of wonderfully thick, atmospheric fiction. I am a sucker for stories that tickle the edges of the fantastic as well as grounded, plausible science fiction that feels just close enough to our current world that it reads eerily prophetic.
Kat is not looking for:
I'm not a great fit for fantasies and science fiction works that have a hard, traditional genre lean. I do prefer grounded or historical foundations, but will consider epic, second world stories on the occasion.
