Paul Lucas joined Regal Hoffmann in 2025 from Janklow & Nesbit Associates, where he worked as a literary agent for 15 years. Somehow, he managed to make a career out of reading speculative fiction, which is as close as he can imagine to living out his childhood dream. He studied Canadian poetry at McGill University and favors cold climates, preferably near snowy peaks with good ski lines. He's looking very selectively for novels with speculative elements and the occasional non-fiction proposal as well.
